Dr. Gururaj Karajagi was born on 24th May 1952 in Bilagi, Bagalkot District. He spent his constructive times in Dharwad and learnt the knowledge gained from ancient Indian Holy Writ in a traditional gurukula for six times. He latterly completed his B.Sc. in Chemistry and M.Sc. in Chemistry from Karnataka University, and was a harmonious Rank holder, noway out of the first three. He joined a Ph.D. course in Inorganic Chemistry and completed his doctorate in two times, and he also won an award for his subject study in the Indian Chemical Society.

Academic Career
Karajagi's trip as a schoolteacher and preceptor took its first way in 1973. He came the star of a reputed women's council in Bangalore at the age of 29 times and headed that College for 16 times. During his trip, he innovated and headed learning institutions of several types, including domestic seminaries, sodalities of advanced literacy. He's presently the Chairman of the Academy for Creative Teaching( ACT)- ACT has been innovated on Education for Creative tutoring, and is exploring a number of innovative pedagogical styles in schoolteacher training and class development.
