Subhajit Chakraborty is an Indian singer who achieved national prominence as the first runner-up of Indian Idol Season 15 in 2025. Subhajit is originally from Changual village of Kharagpur, West Bengal, and going from a small town to the national level is a true example of devotion and love for music. Subhajit Chakraborty was 27 years old as of 2025, so in his mid-20s.

Family Background

Before Subhajit made his mark in music, he was a young boy working as a helper in his family paaan (betel leaf) shop. Hence, his childhood earned him the endearing title of "Idol ka Paanwala" on the show Indian Idol. Subhajit has received so much help from his family in just pursuing his dreams of singing.
