Blind Item Revealed: Which Newbie's Career Is Suffering

The Opinionated Indian published a blind item that described an alarming situation that involved a new star kid whose first movie success did not lead to career progress. The young actor experienced initial success, but his career advancement stopped because of two factors: industry contracts that restricted his work and power struggles happeningbehind the scenes.

Blind Item

This newbie star kid's debut movie, produced by a top studio, was a blockbuster success. One would assume that he would have signed for multiple movies, after his breakout success. But that doesn't seem to be the case. As per a source, the newbie star kid had signed the dreaded three-film contract with the studio to land his Bollywood break. The newbie was offered several good scripts but couldn't accept any of them because of the three-film contract with the studio. The contract states that the studio has veto power when it comes to the actor accepting projects outside the studio. Another young handsome actor who looks similar lapped those projects up. This has led to his career getting stalled. Even after delivering a blockbuster, he is unable to establish himself. The newbie is a worried person these days.

The situation becomes more difficult to understand because people need to analyze how the momentum disappeared after the successful launch. The young actor became bound by his contract restrictions after he achieved box-office success with a major film studio. He received multiple offers, but studio executives and internal political dynamics of the company blocked him from getting the most valuable chances that went to another actor who looked like him and was the same age. The initial excitement about him faded with time because he lost his status as a popular newcomer and was unable to recover his previous success.
