The bond between Bollywood’s biggest stars can often be just for show, because behind the smiles and selfies, rivalry is very real. The Opinionated Indian published a blind item which revealed two actors from a historical movie who now compete against each other with jealousy and negative public relations as their main weapons.

These two actors were seen together in a period epic. The younger among the two is several years junior to the other superstar, but is a much bigger star today. The younger superstar has starred in several big grossers & his latest movie has broken several records. It is one of Bollywood's biggest hits ever. His success has made the other superstar jealous. They have been rivals since the time they starred in the period epic. The younger actor walked away with all the praise for his awesome portrayal of a tyrant, while the other superstar & the heroine were overshadowed by him. It doesn't help that while the younger one has starred in several solo hero superhits, only one film starring the other star in a lead role grossed big bucks at the box office. As per a source, the jealous superstar's PR has been fuelling a negative PR campaign against his rival. In fact some memes even taunted the actor about him being overshadowed in the spy thriller blockbuster by a character actor - just like how he had overshadowed the jealous superstar. 

The younger actor experienced a rapid rise to stardom which his co-star from the historical film found difficult to accept. The senior actor achieved multiple box office successes which established him as a top performer, but his career progress remained stagnant because he only managed to achieve one significant solo success. The competition has transformed into an ego battle because their different career paths have created greater animosity between them. 

The younger actor not only achieved tremendous success at the box office, but he also received the most acclaim for his strong historical film performance which placed him above both his leading partner and the female lead. The insecure superstar now faces rumors that his team has been spreading negative public relations about his rival while they use social media memes to mock him for being "overshadowed" again, which shows that success in Bollywood brings both awards and rivalries.
