The Opinionated Indian published a blind item which revealed that a semi-retired superstar actress had left a sequel that an A-list superstar's production house was developing. The social media platforms speculated that the actor had changed the script to make himself the movie's main character. Sources revealed that the actress left the project because she did not approve of the film's religious elements which she considered insufficiently secular.

This semi-retired superstar actress recently starred in a hit action sequel. She was in talks to star in the sequel to a comedy-drama bankrolled by an A-list superstar's production house, but backed off the project. No reasons were given apart from the usual "creative differences" one. Social media platforms have been blaming the A-list superstar & producer of the movie. They claim that he tweaked the script to make it centre around him & this did not go down well with the semi-retired actress. As per a source, the rumors are fake. The A-list superstar & producer only has a cameo in the movie, just like he did in the previous installments in the franchise. The actress was unhappy with the glorification of one religion & vilification of another religion's customs. She wanted the script to be more "secular" & did not want to hurt the sentiments of one religion. The makers did not agree & she promptly quit the movie.

The development disappointed many fans who were excited about the possibility of seeing the two major stars share screen space for the first time. The two actors have never shared screen time together in a complete film despite their lengthy careers and successful movie achievements. The upcoming sequel would include their possible collaboration, which both audiences and industry insiders wanted to see.
