Bloody Daddy Ending Explained
"Bloody Daddy" takes viewers on a thrilling journey revolving around the life of Sumair Azad, a corrupt NCB officer entangled in a web of crime. Collaborating with his colleague Jaggi, Sumair executes a daring heist, stealing a bag of cocaine. However, the robbery turns fatal, prompting officers Aditi Rawat and Sameer Singh to initiate an investigation.
Complicating matters, mob boss Sikandar Chowdhary seizes Sumair's son, Atharv, as leverage until the stolen drugs are returned. Struggling with his role as a father and being pursued by his ex-wife for his irresponsible behavior, Sumair decides to prioritize his son's safety over monetary gains from the drugs. With the intention of handing the bag back to Sikandar once Atharv is secure, Sumair cleverly conceals the remaining packets in the bathroom vents.
Unfortunately, Aditi inadvertently disrupts Sumair's plan by moving the bag from the men's restroom to the women's. In the meantime, Hameed Shaikh enters the picture as the individual who paid Sikandar for the drugs. Faced with the realization that he must deliver the drugs to ensure his son's release, Sumair devises a risky scheme.
Sumair enlists the help of two cooks from the hotel kitchen to create a deceptive ploy. He replaces the cocaine with flour packets, manipulating the appearance to resemble the real thing. To prevent suspicion, Sumair tampers with the bag's chain, causing it to delay opening.
Capitalizing on Sikandar's anniversary, Sumair convinces Bunty, the bartender, to assemble a group of hotel employees, disguising them as NCB officers staging a drug raid. The plan succeeds as Sumair manages to hand over the bag of flour packets to Hameed, convincing Sikandar to release his son. However, Hameed discovers the deceit when he inspects one of the packets in his car, leading to chaos and blame-shifting between Sikandar and Sumair.
In the ensuing events, Sumair confronts Aditi in an attempt to extract the bag's whereabouts. Employing a desperate measure, he fabricates his involvement as an undercover NCB agent, implicating Jaggi as a corrupt cop and insinuating Sameer's complicity. Through a physical altercation, Aditi reveals that the bag is located in the ladies' toilet, unaware that Sameer has moved it to his car.
In a turbulent turn of events, Sumair engages in a confrontation with Sameer, resulting in Jaggi's accidental demise and the revelation of Sameer's treachery. With Hameed in his custody, Sumair coerces Sikandar into killing Hameed. Amid the chaos, Sumair is rendered unconscious and compelled by Sikandar to disclose the bag's location.
Left with no alternative, Sumair leads Sikandar to the ladies' bathroom, only to discover the bag's absence (unknown to them, it rests in Sameer's car). In a swift turn of events, Sumair incapacitates Sikandar and makes a daring escape through the ventilation system.
To trace his son's whereabouts, Sumair discreetly tails Bunty, who regularly delivers meals to Atharv's captive location. A series of action-packed sequences follow, accompanied by an intense musical score, leading Sumair to Sameer's car. However, Sikandar and his accomplice Vicky catch up, resulting in a fatal confrontation where Vicky falls victim to Rafa, Hameed's right-hand man, and Aditi eliminates Rafa.
In the midst of the turmoil, Sumair seizes the opportunity to escape with Atharv, leaving Sameer to apprehend Sikandar and claim the bag of money. As they drive towards the police station, Aditi starts to suspect Sameer's betrayal, but before she can take any action, Sameer shoots her. He proceeds to eliminate Sikandar and the police officer driving the car, attempting to make it appear as Sikandar's doing. However, when Sameer is rescued from the wreckage, he discovers that Aditi is still alive, revealing his true colors.
Sumair, meanwhile, is rushed to the hospital due to his injuries. Forty-eight hours later, he is discharged and warmly greeted by Atharv, Riya (Sumair's ex-wife), and Akash (Riya's current partner). Atharv, now convinced that his father is a hero, chooses to spend more time with Sumair instead of going on vacation with his mother and Akash.
Towards the end of "Bloody Daddy," Aditi meets with Sumair and informs him of an impending investigation into the missing cocaine from the bag. Despite Sumair pretending to be unaware and offering assistance to the NCB in their search, Atharv discovers that the cocaine is hidden in the glove box of Sumair's car. As Sumair drives away, Atharv begins to realize the truth about his father – that he is not a hero but a villain. Despite Sumair's efforts to justify his actions, Atharv understands that his father's motivations were driven by greed and addiction rather than genuine concern for his family.
In the final moments of the movie, Sumair's facade crumbles as Atharv comprehends the reality of his father's character. The film concludes with the acknowledgment that Sumair is indeed a bad father, as his actions were fueled by selfishness and drug dependency. Regardless of any misguided perceptions or attempts to glorify his deeds, Sumair's true nature as a flawed and morally bankrupt individual is revealed, leaving Atharv to grapple with the harsh truth about his father.
