1. Lemon and Gram Flour Mask

Ingredients:

Few drops of fresh lemon juice, 1 tbsp gram flour

How to use:

  • In a bowl, mix few drops of fresh lemon juice with a tbsp of gram flour and make a paste
  • Apply the paste all over the hands and arms and leave it to dry for 10-15 mins
  • Wash it off with warm water and then pat dry.

    NOTE: This one of the best de-tan pack for hands and can be repeated daily.

2. Cucumber and Yogurt Face Pack

Ingredients:

Pulp of 1 cucumber, 1 tbsp yogurt, Few drops of  Rose Water

How to use:

  • In a bowl, mix a tbsp pulp of a cucumber with equal amounts of yogurt
  • Add a few drops of rose water and make a paste
  • Apply it on hands evenly and let it rest for 15 mins
  • Wash it off with cold water.

NOTE: Apply daily to remove sun tan from hands and other body parts faster.

3. Masoor dal and Tomato Pack

Ingredients:

1 tbsp masoor dal (soaked overnight), 1 tbsp pulp of a red ripe tomato, 1 tsp aloe vera gel

How to use:

  • In a grinder, make a thick paste of overnight soaked 1tbsp masoor dal
  • To the paste add 1 tbsp pulp of a tomato and a tsp aloe vera gel and mix
  • Apply the paste on hands and arms gently, massaging for five mins
  • Keep the pack on for another 10 mins and wash it off with cold water.

NOTE: Apply the pack once a week.

4. Turmeric and Gram Flour Pack

Ingredients:

A tsp turmeric powder, A tbsp gram flour, Few drops of rose water

How to use:

  • In a bowl combine a tsp of turmeric powder with a tbsp of gram flour
  • Then add few drops of rose water and make a paste
  • Apply the paste on hands and arms and leave it to dry for 10-15 mins
  • Wash off with lukewarm water.

NOTE: Repeat the process twice to remove tan from hands in a week’s time.

5. Papaya and Honey Pack

Ingredients:

1 tbsp ripe (mashed) papaya, 1 tsp honey

How to use:

  • In a bowl combine a tbsp of ripe and mashed papaya with a tsp of honey
  • Apply the paste on hands and face and rub gently for 10 mins
  • Thereafter, keep it on for another 15-20 mins and wash it off with cold water.

NOTE: Apply at least twice a week.

6. Oats and Buttermilk Cream

Ingredients:

2 tbsp oats (powdered), 2 tbsp fresh buttermilk, Few drops of rose water

How to use:

  • In a bowl combine 2 tbsp powdered oats along with same amount of fresh buttermilk and few drops of rose water and make a creamy paste
  • Apply the mix all over the hands and gently massage for 10 mins
  • Keep it for another 5-10 mins and wash it off with cold water. 

NOTE: This is one of the best tan removal hacks for hands and can be used daily.

7. Orange and Yogurt Pack

Ingredients:

1 tbsp orange rind, dried and powdered, 1 tbsp yogurt, Few drops of orange juice

How to use:

  • In a bowl mix 1 tbsp dried and powdered rind of an orange and same amount of yogurt
  • Add a few drops of fresh orange juice to it and make a pack
  • Apply the pack on hands and arms gently and wait for 10-15 mins
  • Wash it off with cold water.

NOTE:  Repeat the process twice or thrice a week.

8. Potato and  Lemon Juice

Ingredients:

1 thinly sliced potato, Juice of a lemon

How to use:

  • In a bowl mix thin slices of a medium potato with fresh juice of lemon
  • Gently rub the potato slices on hands and arms for 10-15 mins, mostly on the affected areas
  • Let the potato and lemon juice sit on the skin for another 10 mins
  • Wash off with cold water.

NOTE: Repeat the process daily.
