Garima Bhardwaj is an emerging name in Indian journalism for her eye-catching interviews with celebrities and sports personalities, especially the one she conducted with the currently hot Indian cricketer, Yashasvi Jaiswal. Early Life and Education

Garima Bhardwaj is born in New Delhi, India on 21 April 1998. She has a very close knit background as her family belong to a Hindu Religion. She was brought up in a joint family and is very attached to her siblings and cousins including Jhanvi and Shikha Bhardwaj and a younger brother Akash Bhardwaj. Garima is known to keep her personal life very private and is not open about it despite her fame as she doesn't let her family appear before the world with media attention.

It is a test of her dedication and ambition towards education. Garima has done her schooling from Moti Ram Senior Secondary School, Dilshad Garden, New Delhi. She was a bright and hardworking girl and had interest in journalism. Due to which, she has done graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. She then moved to join her master's in Electronic Media at Makhanlal Chaturvedi Rashtriya Patrakarita University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

She also took various online courses which improve one's ability a little better to communicate in English; this is the foremost thing required in journalism. This has been her big attribute to doing well in all phases of life.

Career Journey

Garima began her career by doing an internship at India News in 2020, where she had some hands-on experience reporting about the media. She did a brief stint at KHILADI ADDA while reporting on cricket-related news but remained there for only a few months as she felt that this job did not meet her mark. In October 2021, she became an assistant producer at an OTT platform, and her portfolio included sports and entertainment news, which gave her better exposure to the media world.
This was when she finally got the big break - joining The Lallantop, a news platform known for an engaging and contemporary take on journalism. There, as a writer and editor at The Lallantop, Garima began writing on cricket and celebrity news. Her sharp, incisive pieces and interviews began to gain attention. She soon shifted into becoming a sub-editor where she continues to write and edit news stories. Working with The Lallantop has also given her a lot of confidence in front of the camera; she could interview some of the most notable celebrities and sportspersons, thus, becoming her hallmark.

Fame and achievements

This interview with the cricketer Yashasvi Jaiswal marked Garima's tour to stardom as she was recognized by many for being intelligent, communicative, and capable of obtaining the feelings of her interviewees. From being an extremely small girl with a dream, to today, when she is a well-known journalist, Garima has been here. It can surely be implied that, in the coming years, Garima will achieve greater heights as she continues to soar higher and higher in journalism and becomes a role model to many aspiring journalists out there.
