Hina Khan is an Indian television and film actress who gained prominence in the entertainment industry, was born on October 2, 1987, in (Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir). In the long-running TV serial, (Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai) (2009-2016), Hina debuted in the leading role of Akshara Singhania, which made her a household name in India.

Hina pursued her education in Delhi and Gurgaon. She earned an MBA degree from CCA School of Management, Gurgaon. Initially, Hina wanted to make a career in Journalism or as an Air Hostess, but due to health issues, she was unable to pursue that, subsequently, Hina developed an interest in acting and has now become one of Indian Television’s most loved faces.

In 2017, Hina participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 8, where she secured the first runner position, followed by Bigg Boss Season 11 she was also the runner-up. On Bigg Boss, she turned many heads with her confidence and style and she developed a huge fan base. She was able to change her image from the traditional TV bahu to a new-age fashionista.

Hina Khan made her Bollywood debut in 2018 with the short film Smartphone, followed by her first feature movie Hacked (2020)- a psychological thriller. She has starred in various web series, such as Damaged 2 and Seven One, demonstrating her versatility, and breaking out from conventional television formats.

One of her most well-regarded roles was again as Komolika in the reboot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, in which viewers loved her portrayal of a glamorous villain.
