Early Life and Introduction to Kabaddi

Ajit started playing kabaddi when he was 14 years old. The sport had become quite popular in his area, and the reason why he started playing kabaddi was the inspiration of players such as Shrikant Jadhav.

Professional Career

Here, he played for the Periyar Panthers in the Yuva Kabaddi Series, which is an inter-district youth league. Therefore, his career really soared with his brilliant performance as it earned him the 'Best Defender of the Season' award in 2022.

In 2023, Ajit was purchased by the Telugu Titans for ₹9 lakhs to play in Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 10. In Season 11, he also played with the same team and participated in 22 matches with a 43% tackle strike rate, scoring 34 points.
