Know About Sanat Sangwan

Himanshu Sangwan is a right-arm fast bowler of India's domestic cricket team Railways and is just 29 years old. Himanshu was born on September 2, 1995, in Haryana's Charkhi in Dadri and spent his childhood days in Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu. He later shifted to Najafgarh in Delhi to follow his cricket dream.
Sangwan began his cricket career by making his first appearance for Delhi Under-19 in 2013, where he shared the stage with future cricket stars like Rishabh Pant. Though opportunities at Delhi's senior team were limited, he represented Haryana at the university and district level. His breakthrough came when he was playing for the Railways side, where he impressed significantly in the Under-23 CK Nayudu Trophy of the 2018-19 season by taking 37 wickets from seven games. This incredible performance earned him a first-class debut for Railways in 2019.
Sangwan has been a regular high scorer in their bowling department ever since, taking 77 wickets from 23 first-class games at an average of 19.92, including three five-fors. For List A cricket, he took 21 wickets from 17 games.
Apart from cricket, Sangwan is a veteran ticket checker at the Old Delhi train station, uniting work and sporting careers.
Among his recent boasts is bowling Virat Kohli to the pavilion in a Ranji Trophy game between Delhi and Railways at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Kohli had come back to play for the Ranji Trophy after almost 13 years when he was bowled by Sangwan off just six runs. To discuss his feat, Sangwan said, "It is the most important wicket of my life. Virat Kohli is the inspiration for the whole of India."
Sangwan's transition from district cricket to dominating the headlines of national tournaments is a testament to his hard work and commitment, and he is one of India's promising hopes.
