Know About The Mahindra XUV 200 Launch Date in India
The Mahindra XUV 200 is said to be launched in India by the end of the year, 2024. Though it hasn't made any official notification about the release, yet it's expected to be seen within this bracket of a micro-SUV, as that of Tata Punch. The estimated price for the same will come within the brackets of ₹7 lakh and ₹10 lakh, considering the features and quality it contains within its storehouse.
The XUV 200 will come with both petrol along with diesel fuel type options. In the petrol type, a unit of 1.2-liter turbo might be used that produces 110 hp along with 200 Nm of torque. The diesel type may feature 1.5 liter which may develop 115 hp along with 300 Nm of torque. There would be a manual as well as self-transmission gear box available for the two variants-the first one being a 6-speed and the second also a 6-speed self-transmission box. In design, it will take inspiration from its bigger sibling, XUV 300. It will carry the XUV 300 front grille and new logo from Mahindra, the projector LED headlamp and sporty bumpers along with a headlamp cluster that will give it a look of sharp uniqueness as well as sleek.
The XUV 200 is going to be available with quite a number of features, which would include an infotainment screen that is quite large in size.
The Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are said to be offered wirelessly. Some more features on the vehicle include a 360-degree camera, cruise control, a premium sound system, and climate control. The safety features consist of two airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and Hill Hold Assist. Reports further claim that XUV 200 can offer panoramic sunroof on these grounds too, as the sibling XUV 300 already has one in tow. The car will offer petrol manual at the fuel efficiency of about 17 km/l while the petrol automatic will stand at about 14 km/l, and a diesel manual will be there at 20 km/l and diesel automatic at 17.5 km/l.
The length has been projected at 3,995 mm, while the width and height will be 1,821 mm, 1,617 mm respectively. And the wheelbase will measure 2,620 mm. For this variant also, 16 inches of wheels along with 215/60 R16 tyres have been projected. The braking system would be a disc brake arrangement at the front and drum brakes at the back. The suspension feature will be an independent McPherson strut on the front side, equipped with an anti-roll bar. At the back, there will be a twist beam with the help of a coil spring. The safety features include electronic stability control along with roll-over mitigation, braking disc wiping, and corner braking control.
