Early Life & Musical Influence

Manasi was born on September 9th, 2000, in Siliguri, West Bengal, and was raised in a humble household in Kolkata. She began her musical journey at the delicate age of five. Hearing her grandmother chant devotional songs and singing songs together as a family in the evenings inspired Manasi, and her love for singing blossomed effortlessly from there. "We listened to music all the time, but music was the way we communicated[/] with each other," she stated in an interview. Her neighbors would often be drawn to her when she would perform in her childhood, claiming that they were mesmerized by her golden voice.

Her father, Bishwanath Ghosh, has always supported her dreams, and her mother, though preferring to stay away from the limelight, was the one who first noticed her potential and encouraged regular training.
