Satyavathi Chauhan, professionally known as Mangli, is an Indian playback singer, television host, and actress. She is widely recognized for her performances in traditional Banjara attire and is famous for singing Telangana folk songs, especially during major Indian festivals. Mangli has performed at various cultural events both in India and abroad. She has been featured in popular music videos for festivals such as Bathukamma, Bonalu, Sankranti, Telangana Formation Day, Ugadi, and Sammakka Sarakka Jatara.

Early Life
Mangli hails from a Banjara community and pursued a diploma in Carnatic music from Sri Venkateswara University. Her father advocated her musical aspirations from a young age, and she or he was inspired through her instructors to end up a track trainer. After completing her education, Mangli moved to Hyderabad and Bengaluru to explore opportunities in tv anchoring. She has a younger sister, Indravathi Chauhan, who gained fame for making a song the hit track "Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava" from the movie Pushpa: The Rise. Mangli lent her voice to the Kannada version of the same song.

Mangli's career took off in 2013 when she was invited as a guest artist on V6 News for a special show called Dhoom Dham during the Dasara festival. Her popularity soared through her performance as "Maatakari Mangli" on the satirical news show Teenmaar Varthalu, alongside Bithiri Sathi and Savitri. She later worked with HMTV on another satirical show, Jordar News with Sujatha. Mangli is well-known for singing songs centered around Telangana festivals, such as Bathukamma, Bonalu, and Telangana Formation Day. One of her popular songs, "Orugallu Kotanadugu," became a hit during the 2018 Telangana Formation Day celebrations.

In Tollywood, Mangli has lent her voice to films like Sapthagiri Express, Raj Mahal, Needhi Naadi Oka Katha, George Reddy, and the chart-topping song "Ramuloo Ramulaa" from the 2020 blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. In 2018, she participated in the television show Maharani, hosted by Lakshmi Manchu. Her 2021 music "Saranga Dariya" from the film Love Story became an instantaneous hit and became broadly preferred by way of audiences.
