Omair Tahir Rana was born on 31 January 1978 in Al Ain, UAE, and is 47 years old in 2025. He was enrolled at University College Lahore and took a part-time course at the London School of Economics before entering the world of acting.

Omair established Real Entertainment Production (REP) in 2000 and produced more than 50 plays. He also pioneered IGCSE Drama in Pakistan and directed school plays which left a significant imprint on the education of theatre.

Omair appeared in Toba Tek Singh (2005) and starred in Chambaili (2013), Tamanna (2014), Dukhtar (2015), Kamli (2022), and Gunjal (2023). He is also involved in the forthcoming movie Driven.
