Pradeep Ranganathan is an Indian film actor, writer and director. He primarily works in the Tamil film industry. Pradeep demonstrated his passion for stories and filmmaking from an early age and thus went on to create several short films in his early years of filmmaking. Among those popular short films are Whatsapp Kadhal, College Diaries, and App(a) Lock, where he gained traction and recognition in the industry.

In the year 2019, Pradeep had a great debut in the Tamil film industry with the movie, Comali and was also the actor, writer and director of the feature film. This film was well-received by audiences and critics. He was able to display all of his multiple talents as director for this feature film, and he went on to win the coveted SIIMA Award for Best Debutant Director for Comali. He established himself as an up-and-coming filmmaker in Tamil Cinema.

Following the blockbuster hit Comali, Pradeep wrote, directed, and starred in Love Today (2022), which once again catapulted him into popularity and notoriety as an innovative author/director and actor in Tamil cinema.  Love Today further established him as a multi-talented creator. At 170 cms (5'5"), weighing 65 kgs, one can add an idea of the humble/down-to-earth character that Pradeep has. Pradeep completed his schooling from DAV School in Chennai and later graduated from the SSN College of Engineering, Chennai. While becoming notable before 2022, he continues to keep details of his family private. When his family is discussed, public knowledge of his mother, father, and siblings is not extensive.
