Rajvir Jawanda was a Punjabi singer and actor who was born on 20 April 1990 in Ludhiana (Punjab), Jagraon, India. He was popular because of his traditional but modern Punjabi music which appealed to a large number of listeners. His music career started with singing songs that incorporated cultural pride and modern music which led him to be quickly recognised in the music industry.

Jawanda started his music career in 2014 and in a short period of time, he gained popularity with hit tracks such as Khush Reha Kar, Kangani, Sardaari and Tu Dis Penda among others. He also tried his acting career, starring in Punjabi movies like Jind Jaan (2019), Mindo Taseeldarni (2019) and Subedar Joginder Singh (2018). His work was valued on cultural grounds and emotionalism.

Rajvir Jawanda was killed at the age of 35 when he died in 2025. He was a father to two children and had a wife. Although his personal life was mostly a secret, he is said to have lived with his family; comprising his wife and children, who were very much supportive of him during his career.

In September 2025, Rajvir was seriously wounded in a road accident whilst he was on a motorbike tour to Baddi in Himachal Pradesh. He was hospitalised and sustained severe head and spine injuries that were severe. Although he was receiving an extensive medical treatment and life support in Fortis Hospital, Mohali, on 8 October 2025, he died of multiple organ failure. He was in a critical state 11 days before his death.
