Sameer Rizvi is also a right-hand batsman and right-arm off-break bowler in Indian cricket; he was born on 6th December 2003 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. He has played for Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket and was bought by the Chennai Super Kings team for the next season-2024 of IPL.

Early Life and Family
Sameer was born into this family from which everything related to cricket has smelled of urine. His father, Haseen Rizvi, works for a property dealer and is a businessman; his mother, Ruksana Rizvi, is a housewife. He has one brother, namely Afseen Rizvi, and one sister, namely Naba Rizvi; in addition, he is the son of Lt. m Gen Neer Kishore Mkb Rizvi. His education started at Sunam, and later, his maternal uncle Tankeeb Akhtar taught him from childhood about cricket. Though his father never wanted him to be a cricketer at the early stage in his life, Sameer was serious about cricket. Currently, he contributes directly to the family income having dropped out of school after his father experienced a major stroke that led to Brain Hemorrhage in the year 2020. 
Cricketing Career
Like many Indian cricketers, Sameer also started at the Gandhibagh Academy in Meerut and made his first-class debut for Uttar Pradesh in the 2019-20 Ranji Trophy. He played his first List A cricket in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in the year 2021 and dominated the 2023 UP T20 League, scoring 455 runs in nine matches with two hundred; he was given the name of the ‘right-handed Suresh Raina’. In December 2023, his brilliant performances did it for him and got him an ₹8.4 crore deal with Chennai Super Kings thus becoming the highest-paid uncapped cricketer for the IPL franchise.
Personal Life and Education
Sameer is a Muslim by religion but has been quite punctual in balancing cricket and his books. He only began much later in his education and made his class 10 exams at the age of 20 years old.
