What was meant to be a huge event transformed into a scandal when the woman found out about her partner’s long-term cheating. The aftermath has been a hard blow to both families, as the father of the bride has been hospitalized and the couple's future is uncertain.

This led to a huge altercation between them, followed by the bride calling off the wedding & which led to the bride's father having a heart attack. The bride's father has been hospitalized. The bride is in no mood to get married to her BF of several years & is eager to see her father recover. The groom's parents, meanwhile, are giving it a different spin - they are claiming that the marriage has only been postponed & that it will happen once the bride's father recovers & is brought back home. They are hoping that they will agree to the marriage once the bride's father regains his health & is in a better space mentally.
