Review:
Singer Dhvani Bhanushali steps into the world of movie with Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam, a lighthearted comedy that also touches on full-size social issues. The story revolves round Meera, an impartial female from Haryana, performed with the aid of Bhanushali, who defies societal norms by way of escaping an arranged marriage. She joins Krishna, an eccentric teacher portrayed by way of Aashim Gulati, who has a weird fascination with unintentional marriages. When Krishna is mistakenly accused of eloping with Meera, the 2 are compelled to escape from her brothers, setting the diploma for a chain of comedic mishaps.
One of the film's highlights is its energetic tone, in particular inside the second 1/2 of. After the intermission, the narrative shifts to Krishna's lively own family in Barsana, in which ladies hold positions of impact, offering a sparkling evaluation to the conventional patriarchal values depicted in advance.Director Saurabh Dasgupta keeps the mood upbeat and mild, making the movie an smooth and fun watch
.
However, the film struggles with pacing, mainly within the first half, where the story drags and lacks intensity. Lengthy dialogues slow down the plot, and the film’s recognition on girls’s rights and personal freedom frequently comes in the course of as preachy in preference to being seamlessly included into the storyline. Krishna’s individual, raised by means of robust girls, every so often feels extra like a mouthpiece for the film’s messages than a totally developed person.
Another weak point is the unexpected shift inside the circle of relatives patriarch’s person, which feels rushed and underdeveloped. While the film does an admirable task of championing girls’s independence, it misses an possibility to explore ladies’s goals past marriage. Meera’s journey could had been more compelling if the narrative had delved deeper into her non-public goals and aspirations.
On the plus side, Dhwani Bhanushali makes a good debut, bringing charm and strength to her character. Ashim Gulati shines once again, his air of mystery and warm smile make him a lovable romantic lead.
Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam in Quiet is a blend of comedy and social declaration. Despite the film’s narrative flaws, it manages to capture and deliver a valuable message about women’s rights. A more nuanced approach to problem solving should have made the film more impressive as well.
