After two consecutive flops, Ayushmann Khurrana slashes his remuneration to Rs. 15 crores

In the pre-pandemic era, Ayushmann Khurrana was on a roll, with his films proving to be a successful venture for all stakeholders. However the epidemic, reversed the tide for almost every actor. While the popularity of his films caused Ayushmann Khurrana's fees to rise to Rs. 25 crores, we learn that his fees have fallen back to pre-pandemic levels.

Following the poor performance of Anek and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, Ayushmann's acting fees have been reduced from Rs. 25 crores to Rs. 15 crores. The producers of his forthcoming films have requested him to help them through difficult times and he willingly agreed for the larger good of the films. His current market value is Rs. 15 crores.

Ayushmann is currently loaded with proposals from multiple producers, but he is waiting to see how Doctor G does at the box office before deciding on his next movie. The insider stated that he'll be concentrating on Dream Girl 2 until about the end of the year, then after he'll decide on his next project. In fact, Ayushmann is optimistic that the upcoming films will put him back in contention.


Ayushmann isn't the first actor to reduce his fees. Akshay Kumar, who used to demand Rs. 144 crores for a film, has lowered his cost to Rs. 72 crores. John Abraham, Shahid Kapoor, and Rajkummar Rao have also cut their prices in half. The industry is in the process of being rebuilt
