Ishaan Khatter compares Phone Booth with Salman Khan, Aamir Khan starrer Andaz Apna Apna
In an exclusive interview, Ishaan Khatter shared why he did this film and while sharing he compared Phone Bhoot to the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna, starring Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.

Ishaan Khatter’s new film Phone Bhoot with Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi is all set to get release this upcoming month. In this horror-comedy film Ishaan and Siddhant will be playing two 'bhootbusters', while Katrina will play the role of 'bhootni'.The plot revolves around some hilarious situations where the trio finds themselves during their ghost-busting services.
While sharing his reaction on first time hearing the film’s script, the actor said, “When I heard the script, I was quite taken by the fact that it’s an absolutely absurd comedy, so it is very sure in what it is trying to do. There was great clarity of the writers and this genre of good Hindi film comedy, will always works. We all have that little Bollywood inside each of us and this film will turn it on because of it’s quirkiness and its unique new-age language.”
This film is a very punchy relentless comedy. And I found myself laughing for atleast two hours during the film narration. The writers Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath wrote themselves into the film. So essentially, they are Gullu and Major and they have very interesting characters. It is like an Andaaz Apna Apna but in the horror world”, Ishaan said.
Producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Phone Bhoot will release in cinemas on 4th of November. But this film will see a clasa with Huma Qureshi-Sonakshi Sinha starrer Double XL and Janhvi Kapoor's thriller film Mili.
