Disproving some of the old fashioned theories about dating in your 30s, actors Mrunal Thakur and Shriya Pilgaonkar can be seen getting candid when they share about their dating life in the second episode of Bumble’s series ‘Dating These Nights’.

Mrunal Thakur shares, “I think it is really important for my future partner to understand where I came from, what is happening going on in my mind and should also understand the profession I am in. There is so much uncertainty and instability in my profession and also lots of insecurity, so all I need at the present time is a person who is dependable and settled enough to support me. It’s very uncommon that you would find these kind of people.”

Shriya Pilgaonkar says this as “Energy that is not draining” while Mrunal adds on it, “I call that energy vampire!”

Shriya also shares about how we are accustomed to cling to society’s subjective, old-fashioned supposition of women, in some way, having a life that is controlled by others and challenges the credence, “Now-a-days it’s all about Pop culture stories has made us belief that these are our chief years and you need to have the amusing first encounter moment, the wind will blow your hair and you see them and there’s a spectacular palat’.”

“If this happens, then great! But, it does not have to be always in this way.”

Shriya Pilgaonkar asks Mrunal Thakur ,“Do you feel insecure sometimes by seeing that people in your life are making you feel conscious about your ticking biological clock?” and she replies: “There are some moments when I feel I want to have a baby”. While sharing how encouraging her mother is, Mrunal says “She unexpectedly said that even if I want to freeze my eggs or be a single mother, then it is perfectly okay. And my reaction was wow mom, that’s awesome.”

When Shriya asked about that one piece of advice that Mrunal would want to give her younger self, she says “It’s okay to love somebody but appreciate that it’s not a working relationship.”
