Why Kareena Kapoor Was Warned Against Marrying Saif Ali Khan!

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are one of the most favorite and powerful couples of B’town at present. But did you know, there was a time when Kareena wasn’t sure about marrying Saif (divorcee with two children) at the peak of her career?

In an old chat session, the actress admitted that when she made the decision to marry Saif, the love of her life, many people tried to talk her out of it and even advised her against it because she was doing so well professionally and would be marrying a divorcee with two kids. She continued by saying that people questioned her sincerity in wanting to do this and further warned her that her career would end if she did."Such a big crime to be in love?" she exclaimed. Is getting married such a serious offence? 

When they were filming for Tashan in Greece, Saif brought up the subject of marriage, according to Kareena, who spoke candidly about it. He did tell me, "I think we should get married," she affirmed. Both in Greece and in Ladakh, he informed me of this. I replied, "I don't know because I don't know you," at the time. So, it wasn't really a "no," more of an "I want to get to know you better." Kareena had said, "Let's try it and see what happens. She continued, calling her choice to wed Saif "the best decision of her life."
