Kapil Sharma Is Returning To The Big Screen With Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2!!!a
Kapil Sharma is set to make a comeback on the big screen with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, marking his return to the comedy genre. The comedian-actor, who made his film debut with the original Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon in 2015, has officially signed on for the sequel. The first film, directed by Abbas Mustan, was a surprise hit, earning Rs 43 crore in India and paying tribute to classic David Dhawan comedies by following the protagonist's complicated romantic entanglements with four female leads.
Now, nine years later, Sharma is reuniting with producer Ratan Jain and the Abbas Mustan duo for the sequel. According to insider reports, Kapil is thrilled to dive back into the comedic territory after exploring different genres in recent years. He has approved the script and is expected to begin shooting later this year.
Anukalp Goswami, who was a key writer for the original film, will direct Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2. While Abbas Mustan will not be directing this time, they will oversee the project as creative supervisors, ensuring their signature style is retained. The movie is being produced by Ratan Jain.
Casting for the female leads is currently underway, with the filmmakers planning to feature multiple actresses, similar to the first film. The sequel promises to be another comedic caper, centered around Sharma's character navigating a new set of conflicts.
