In the Kannada film Shankar IPS (2010), Catherine Tresa debuted as an actress alongside Duniya Vijay. Catherine volunteered to model for graduate students studying fashion design when she was barely 14 years old. She modeled for Nalli Silks, Chennai Silks, Fast Track, Josco Jewellers, and Deccan Chronicle after arriving in India. She has also been in numerous ramp performances across numerous cities with Prasad Bidapa, and she has also done filming for Srikantadatta Wodeyar's Maharaja Calendar.
