1. Janpath and Tibetan Market

Located in Janpath, just off Connaught Place, in New Delhi. This is a very popular market where you will find goods from everywhere in India and Tibet. you need good bargaining skills to get a decent price on goods. You can find Handicrafts, hippy clothing, shoes, paintings, brassware, Indian artefacts, leatherwork, fragrances, and cheap jewellery in this market.

2. Dilli Haat

Located in Opposite INA Market, South Delhi. It is deliberately made up to look like a village market called haat. This market is made up of small thatched-roof cottages with a village atmosphere making a different vibe for shopping. It sells handicrafts and artefacts and has food stalls.

3. Paharganj

Located in Paharganj Main Bazaar, opposite the New Delhi Railway Station. This market is where you can find the best bargains and is very chaotic in the main bazaar of Paharganj. There are also wholesale markets and exports to foreign countries which makes it a good place to buy inexpensive things for home. You can buy Clothes, bags, shoes, jewellery, books, music, textiles, handicrafts, hookah pipes, and incense in this market.

Located in old Delhi which has been in existence for about 100 years now and you can find fabrics, jewellery, spices, and electronic goods. It also serves up a delicious assortment of Delhi street food.

Located in South Delhi, near Safdarjung Airport. It is famous for its cheap designer clothes. You can find designer clothes, Indian clothes, fashion accessories and shoes at a very cheap price.

Located in New Delhi, not far from India Gate, where you can find books, music, branded and tailored clothes, Ayurvedic food and cosmetics, and home furnishings. It was established in 1951, it is a U-shaped market and one of the classiest in Delhi. It is not for bargaining customers as it has branded outlets and trendy cafes.

Located at the opposite Connaught Place M-Block where you can buy Fabrics. This market is based on 150 shops spread over two floors where you can find every type of fabric from every part of India.

8. Lajpat Nagar (Central Market)

Located in South Delhi, near Defense Colony (between Greater Kailash and South Extension) where you can buy Indian clothing, shoes, bags, accessories (including Indian bangles), and home furnishings. It is one of the oldest markets in India. And make sure you bargain hard.

9. Phool Mandi (Flower Market)

Located across the road from the Hanuman Temple on Baba Kharak Singh Road, Connaught Place. There's another huge wholesale flower market in Ghazipur, on the outskirts of the city near Anand Vihar Metro station. Hundreds of sellers make temporary stalls in the morning to sell flowers where you can also find flowers imported from Holland and Asia. Its peak season is September to February.

10. Meena Bazaar

Located inside the Red Fort's Lahore Gate entrance, Old Delhi. The nearest Metro station Jama Masjid. It is one of the historic markets where, in the 17th century this was the house of exclusive royal tailors and merchants. These days shopfronts were recently restored to expose the hidden artwork on the ceiling and it gives an authentic Mughal look.
