Akshay Kumar, who most recently appeared in Ram Setu alongside Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushratt Bharuccha, recently took a plane to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to attend the Red Sea Film Festival. Along with him, other famous people were spotted making their presence known, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Saif Ali Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan. Akshay interacted with the media while attending the Film Festival. He disclosed that he is producing a movie about sex education during the interactions.
Akshay has previously produced socially conscious movies like PadMan and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. In the end, audiences responded favourably to both movies. He is now prepared to research a new subject and produce a movie about sex education. When discussing it, he referred to it as a "important subject." At the Film Festival, Akshay reportedly told the media, "I'm producing a film about sex education. It's an extremely important topic. It is absent in many locations. We study a variety of subjects in school, but one of them is sexual education. It is essential, so I want it in every school in the world."
The film's title was kept a secret by Akshay. He stated that he enjoys making these types of movies. He continued, "The release will take some time. I'll be releasing that movie in April or May. It's one of my best movies ever. I enjoy making these kinds of socially conscious films. Even though they are not particularly popular with audiences, these movies satisfy me."
Akshay Kumar is greeted warmly.
Akki posted a video from Jeddah earlier today on Instagram. His ardent supporter could be seen acting like Raju from Hera Pheri in the video. The gracious welcome left him speechless. Akshay shared the video on his account and wrote, "Haha, the Hera Pheri of my fans simply rocks my life for the most endearing of reasons. Thank you to the Jeddah community and the Red Sea International Film Festival for a wonderful experience. Greetings and prayers to everyone."
Next up on the work front for Akshay are the Hindi remakes of Soorarai Pottru, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Oh My God 2, and Selfiee.
