She appeared in the Hindi film Madras Cafe in 2013 where she was playing the wife of John Abraham. She shifted to South Indian cinema and entered the Telugu circuit as a female lead in Oohalu Gusagusalade in 2014. She has since acted in a series of hit films, including Imaikkaa Nodigal (2018) in Tamil and Villain (2017) in Malayalam.
