A blind item that was published by The Opinionated Indian recently made a big impact on both the entertainment and sports communities when the wedding of a high-profile person was suddenly canceled just a day before the ceremony. Though the public's empathy at first sided with one party, the rumors from the insiders have it that the actual reason for the breakup is much more disturbing than the surface.

We had written a blind about a celeb marriage getting called a day before the marriage after the groom was caught cheating on the bride. We received a lot of hate for writing about some gossip that our sources claimed was widely discussed among industry folk. The haters were livid over us writing articles to tarnish the groom's image when he was hospitalized & so was the bride's father. As per a source, the gossip was indeed true. The bride has maintained a dignified silence & chose not to speak about the reason behind the wedding getting called off. She has requested her privacy at this difficult time. They have been dating for several years & this breakup hasn't been easy for her. Her ex-BF is affected by all the hate she has been receiving online. His PR team has been attacking the sportstar's GF & is shamelessly painting him as the victim. Not only is he not apologetic, but his PR team is tarnishing her image. 

The young sports sensation with an enormous fan base and up to now an almost flawless public image is the celebrity involved in this controversy. Besides her discipline, grace, and focus, she had kept her love life to a very minimal, always shunning the unnecessary attention. Friends mention that she was very much into the relationship and made the sudden break of the wedding even more tragic. Those who know her insist that she is very upset but tries to be strong, and is relying on her best friends for emotional support while remaining silent in public. 

The musician-composer, on the other hand, is from a famous creative family and has been a good friend of the industry for a long time. Yet, insiders assert that his behavior behind the scenes was totally different and far from ideal. Sources indicate that rather than admitting his mistakes and giving room for healing, the damage has been dealt with in a very aggressive and strategic manner. Allegedly, several PR tactics are in the pipeline to divert the sympathy of the public, and subtle measures are being taken to attack the character of the sports star. While stories can be created, the truth, as it is often said, has a way of surfacing — and when it does, it seldom lets those who have been dishonest get away with it.
