Run at Senior Police Inspector (PI) Yuvraj Sambhaji Hande (2005 batch Police Sub-Inspector) since 25 March 1977 station for MIDC Police, in Nagpur. The station has a workforce of 89 staff and 12 officers in total covering a catchment area of about 10 km(2) and a resident base of approximately 300 000 inhabitants.

The premises of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) Police Station cover from Jaitala Market to Hingna Pull (from east to west) and from Sonegaon Nipani up to Isasani-Waghdhara (from north to south). This area includes several gram panchayats -Sonegaon-Nipani, Isasani, Nildoh, Digdoh- and the Wanadongari Municipal Council and 13 slum wards. PI Yuvraj Hande stresses the need for community policing and has given out his mobile phone number (8275200947) to the local inhabitants and is requesting them to share emergencies or confidential information directly. The station also maintains a landline contact at 0710-237935/237885. For better community linkage, police are conducting Shantata Meetings, Mohalla Meetings, and Senior Citizen Meetings and also communicating with the citizens, local corporators, social workers, and merchants to address the problems. Moreover, police officers participate in seminars and awareness programs conducted by educational institutions and other educational institutes to educate students and get them acquainted, thus creating youth awareness.

After the occurrence of theft and other instances of irregularities, preventive measures have been taken up by the MIDC Police, against the known criminals, illicit liquor mafia, and gambling. Under the guidance of the Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar and Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 1) Noorul Hasan, the station conducted 138 preventive measures in the span of one year, an immensely greater number compared to previous years. Interventions have ranged from the application of the Maharashtra Prevention of Dangerous Activities (MPDA) Act externment orders to repeat offenders, to protect the community.

Recognizing that the jurisdiction includes a substantial labor population, PI Hande advocates for the education of children as a deterrent to crime. He further asks parents, in particular parents with labor backgrounds parents, to give priority to their children's education, which emphasizes education playing a role in outreach to prevent future acts of criminality.
