Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Jasprit Bumrah will return to ODIs and will no doubt add more depth to the Indian team. Jasprit Bumrah is returning from injury and will be hoping to stay fit. A lot of attention will be on the duo of Rohit and Virat, who are the mainstays of the team.

Assam: Barsapara set to host first ever ODI on Jan 10 - EastMojo

Sri Lanka has given tough competition to the Indian team in T20Is and will want to continue to compete here as well. The team's spinners have struggled in T20Is and will want to improve. Dasun Shanaka will again be a key player for Sri Lanka in ODIs.

Length of the boundaries at Barsapara Stadium
The Barsapara Stadium in Assam hosted an international match in October last year, where the batsmen of both teams defeated the bowlers. A total of 448 runs were scored in this T20I match between India and South Africa. Suriya Kumar Yadav played some magic in this match and is in great form right now.

It is clear that the pitch here in Guwahati works in favour of the batsmen but apart from the pitch, the boundary dimensions also play a very important role. The straight boundaries on this track are around 65 metres long while the square boundaries are around 68 metres long, which is quite shorter compared to other venues.

For the batsmen, the narrowness of the pitch is sure to be appealing as they can easily score runs over the ropes. After a fantastic T20 series, this match too has the potential to be a high scoring one.
